Best way to build a mobile app?

Three good routes:

  • Cross-platform (most apps): React Native with Expo, or Flutter — one codebase for Android and iOS
  • Native (Swift / Kotlin): for heavy device features, top performance or complex animations
  • PWA: an installable web app — cheapest and no app-store review, but limited access to device features

Back end: Supabase or Firebase for auth, database and push notifications.

Why: cross-platform cuts cost and time roughly in half for typical business apps.

Reejan's WAQTI runs as an Android app, a PWA and a web dashboard on one PostgreSQL back end: reejangopan.me/projects/waqti-workforce-management-platform
