Node.js, Python or .NET for the back end?

All three are excellent — choose by team and problem:

  • Node.js (TypeScript): one language front to back, great for APIs and real-time; huge ecosystem
  • Python: best for data, automation and AI (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
  • .NET (C#) / Java: strongly typed and mature — common in enterprises and Microsoft-centric companies

Rule of thumb: use what your team knows best; switch only for a clear reason (e.g. Python for heavy AI/data work).
